Albert Pinggera founded design.buero when he returned to Passeier in 1997 after having spent a number of years working and studying in Munich, Berlin and The Hague.
The focus of his studies and training were type design, typography and corporate design.

Work with international partners such as Alessio Leonardi in Berlin, eStudio Calamar in Spain and Erik van Blokland in The Hague continues to increase.

In 2001 we began an in-house DTP department in order to guarantee quality through the entire process.

In 2004 we found verlag.Passeier.

Since 2007 Albert Pinggera is teacher for Type Design at the renowned ISIA in Urbino.
